OR, I'll let you walk Zoka and in exchange you could bake me cinnamon rolls. :D

That walk would quickly turn into a sleepover and then you wouldn't have Zoka or the cinnamon rolls!

Ladybird bakery has great everything! 12th St. and 8th Ave. I admit that I haven't tried the cinnamon rolls, but everything else I've had from there, even stuff I don't usually like such as almond cake, is delicious. I especially recommend the ginger peach or ginger plum scones, corn muffins, and Brooklyn Blackout cake (or cupcake).

I agree with lnelson that Ladybird is fantastic. In fact, every other bakery I've gone to for cakes/pies/cupcakes in the neighborhood is not worth eating compared to Ladybird. I've actually thrown desserts out from the other places, and I rarely don't finish sugar even if it's subpar.

If LB has cinnamon rolls, I would expect them to be great. And if you're there, get some cupcakes. All are probably good but so far I've had the Brooklyn Blackout and Lemon Cloud--both unbelievably delicious.

Does Cousin John's sell cinnamon rolls? I like their strawberry shortcake.
Anyone want to make a run to a Cinnabon? LMAO

This may be lame but Pillsbury Cinnamon rolls are pretty damn good to me. My mom would always make them for Christmas morning so there may be an emotional attachment involved.

When I was little, my grandmother used to make the Pillsbury ones that came with the orange flavored frosting, I used to love them

I like them, too. My mom would make a can on winter Sunday mornings sometimes when we were kids. They're not as good as my dad's homemade rolls, but take less than 15 minutes to make whereas dad's take about 8 hours!

I *think* they do. I'm almost positive Blue Sky does as well. That would be my first round pick for sure.

    Where is Blue Sky?

After all this talk about cinnamon rolls, i went to Brooklyn Bread bakery today and bought an apple turnover and a chocolate cheese danish (I know they weren't cinnamon rolls, but, they were breakfast pastry, right?), I thought they were both awful.

5th, between Bergen and Dean, I believe. no, not South Slope. :)

they're best known for their muffins, as they should be, but I do believe theirs some cinammon rolls on top of the counter.

I've walked by Brooklyn Bread Bakery and, yeah, it does not look appetizing in the least. Place looks to have zero personality.
