    You can get very good locally-produced lard at the GAP green market.

    Flying Pigs? Or the farmers from around New Paltz (can't remember their names).

    Flying Pigs sometimes has leaf lard, and regular lard.
    The Park Slope Food Coop has it too - organic sustainable, etc .

    Whatever you do, pleae don't buy the shelf-stable Hormel lard in a box. It's hydrogenated for some reason, and non-hydrogenation is one of he things that real lard has going for it.
