Old laundromat on 7th Ave and 8th?

Anyone know what's going in there? It's all boarded up. Please tell me it's not another bank.

Um...good? But I love the dingy space of the Donut Shop. They're just going to muck up the charm like they always do when old diners relocate.

Two questions:

1. What, then, is going into the old donuts. I would suggest a slot car track.

2. Is that laundry mat any bigger than the space donuts occupies at present? I would venture to say absolutely not. Donuts is on the narrow side, however that former worst laundry mat in the history of clean clothes is boxy and as such wastes space with regard to dinner service/counter space. Furthermore, it has no back room/kitchen/any real bathroom space to speak of.

3 (bonus). Why move? That's the real story.

Oh, also, I love Donuts. Best dinner ever.
