best bike route to Ocean Parkway?

In order to avoid park circle I usually take PPSW to seely st, cross the prospect then go down 19th st to E 5th st, make a left onto Caton and then a Right onto the Ocean Parkway greenway.

I was hoping someone might know of a less annoying route.

Prospect ave to very end past Greenwood--overpass (we used to call it the "bridge") on Ocean Pkwy and E7th ...

I would echo nonhip's suggestion as well.

That connection may be even easier in the future. NYCDOT has proposed tearing down the 'elevated connection path' and making it at grade with clearly delineated traffic calming and crosswalks that would connect to Ocean Parkway. That would do a lot to take away the psychological barrier that separates Windsor Terrace and Kensington.
