moving from DC, need advice

i'm moving from DC and need to find movers since i can't do the move myself. has anyone done a similar move with movers they can recommend? thanks!

we decided to save money by hiring loaders and unloaders but doing the driving ourselves in a uhaul (we moved from chicago). we had movers we liked in chicago and we used the mover finding service from the uhaul website on this end. if you decide to do that DO NOT hire "brendan". (can't remember the name of his "company", but brendan was definitely prominent)

he was a DISASTER.

i have heard great things about moishe's movers, although we decided we couldn't afford them.

we moved from northern virginia to PH last spring. we used JK moving, based in sterling, va. we were 100% happy w/ them. it's certainly not cheap though. they came out the next day to do an estimate and we got a bunch of free packing material.
