Cool jewelry st vendor on 7th ave

So we've all seen those spoon-rings and stuff that people sell in Soho, but there's a guy on 7th ave across from the keyfoods in front of the bank (Carrol st I believe) that is making some really cool stuff. He's got all kinds of utensils from "landmarks" (I got one from Hotel Astor and he had a bunch of state-fair ones) and he will also make them for you on the spot if you have old spoons/forks. They're all sterling and $20-$30

Anyway I have no financial interest in this dude except that he was SUPER nice and had some really great looking products, plus he was making them all right there at the booth which is kind of cool. In short, go check it out if youre into that kind of thing.

Thanks for the tip. If I have a weakness, it's jewelry (or is it British men?). ;-)

I bought a ring (well, hubs bought me a ring) from said guy last year. Super nice guy and really cool rings. I second Carmen's shoutout for the dude. His stuff is great and his prices are good.
