How to delete my post?

Hello, I recently posted a reply and found it on Google...and don't want it there. Is there a way to remove my reply from the Board? I love the Board but not the post. Thanks all!

Sign in and then go to the post you want deleted.

On the top right hand side you'll see the "quote" "edit" and "X" , options. To delete ,click on the "X".

It might not let you delete that you posted something , but it does let you delete what you wrote in that post. You can just clear it out and write "blah blah".

    Subject: Thank you so much.

I did work it out...the message is deleted from the Brooklynian but theentry (with my full name) of the post is still on Google. However, if you enter the the post in Google, my reply is deleted.
I am not very sophisticated and will be more careful. Also deleted my Twitter account as it gave my full name. Funny, one of my church bulletins with my ushering assignment from 2007 is there as well as the date I quit smoking....
The good news is that my Twitter account is closed and until I can think of why in the world I would want to be followed it will remain closed.
Thanks for your help!! and I love the Brooklynian!

Google will eventually "catch up" with the deletion and delete its cache of your old message.

I suppose the others are right, though, that anything you post online could essentially become a part of the "permanent internet record" ... just harder to find.
