Subject: St. Savior's

Anyone else following the drama over the principal's firing at St. Savior's? As neither a Catholic nor a parent of a student, it's an intriguing fight, and it does seem as if the Bishop is being a total jerk. Anyone have any insights?

Where are you reading about it? And is it the highschool principal or the grammar school?

And actually, it seems like it's the paster who's firing the principal (elementary), not the bishop. I misspoke.

My daugher, now in her 20's went to St.Saviors for one miserable year for pre-k. Mr. Flanagan was a jerk then and I doubt that he has improved with age.

Seeing as how the school has been run successfully for the past 25 years when lots of Catholic Schools are closing I think Mr. Flanagan is/was doing a superb job.

so this is what it is all about huh. i've been walking pass the church every few days to go to the hospital, few days ago there were a dozen people picketing outside the church, today there was only one woman doing that. i kinda feel sorry for her. did her friends leave her to picket alone?

while none of my children have gone there, i have heard nothing but great things about the school for as long as I have lived here.
