About seven years ago I took a three week trip. My very kindly landlady took care of my kitty. when I returned my apartment was infested with flies, probably forty of them. Don't know why. I killed those buggers with a fly swatter in minutes. Animal love, yes, bug love, not so much.

Stephen Colbert last night was the first I'd heard of the "Murder in the White House". I thought it was pretty funny. We have killed 3 flies in my house in the last 2 days... Go Obama, I knew I liked that guy. :)
