Need an Apartment Slopeside

Hi all,

So my lease is coming to an end, (I can't believe I have been here a year already) and I recently have begun my quest for a studio or one bedroom in the Slope or downtown Brooklyn area. So far I have been off to a rocky start with a few bait and switch situations and have been brought into some units that I am certain are fire or safety violations. I am not looking for anything to spectacular considering my budget but a fairly recent full size kitchen and a functioning toilet would be nice. If anyone knows of anything I would greatly appreciate it! I'm looking anywhere in Park Slope, Park Slope South-ish, Carrol Gardens, Cobble Hill or Brooklyn Heights. THANKS!
