seeking contractor

Does anybody have recs for a reliable, not-too-expensive contractor? I need to redo the bath, kitchen, and wood floors in my apartment.

I've checked Brownstoner and Apartment Therapy, but their listings aren't huge.

try craigslist or servicemagic.com -- also, I hired Home Depot when I gut renovated my kitchen. They just contract out to third parties but gave me the best price and did a nice job. I'm quite sure they will install flooring and bathrooms as well.

The good thing about Lowes and Home Depot is they guarantee the work AND you can get a credit card with no interest for 18 months.

We used Home Depot for our exterior windows and they were very professional and reasonably priced. The best was that we had 18 months to pay so we were able to do the job since we had time to pay it off rather than pay upfront.

If you are interested I have just redid a bathroom and new floors (hardwood) in my home. I use a friend of mine who does mostly residential work in Brooklyn. I would be more than happy to show you the work he did on my home and he is not very expensive. (But boy can he talk).

    Hey, there you are.

Do you still want your "Proho Ho" T-shirt? You won it fair and square.
