beer garden in south slope

what's the name and location of the beer garden down in way south slope. I think it may even be between 3rd and 4th avenues?

Draft Barn?

draft barn isn't in way south slope, it's in way central gowanus. but if it is what you're thinking of, it's on 3rd ave. between 12th and 13th streets (closer to 13th).

There is no garden at Draft Barn, so I don't see how it qualifies as a beer garden.

maybe new2hood is thinking of The Gate because of the outside drinking? although i wouldn't call it a beer garden

They have a cute outside area but I would hardly call it a "garden." its a gravel pit with some chairs and tables. Moug and I enjoyed a nice dinner there one night, NOT CHEAP though. Can't speak to the beer, we had sake, of which they had a nice list.

They have a nice cozy backyard seating with big threes & grape vine. I recommend to try the beers they have. It's all rare Japanese beer from small or large brewer that I never had before and those are sooooo good.

Once again, how can Draft Barn be considered a beer garden? So basically, any bar with tons of beer options is now a beer garden?
