Mummy Scanning!

The Brooklyn Museum is tweeting minute-by-minute updates as their beloved mummies getting CAT scanned this morning. They’ve just discovered that the fourth mummy, Prince Pasebakhaienipet, has his heart still in place and a piece of reed stuck in his throat! Who knew?

I think that's kinda cool!

I read about this this morning- so COMPLETELY cool. I used to work there and would often visit them during my breaks. They only had two on view as the other two aren't in very good visual condition. I felt bad for those two- being all locked up in the back closet...I consider them all friends. I am not normal.

I wanted to be an archeologist as a kid so I find all this shit totally cool.
