midtown folks -- what happened at ~39th and 3rd?

around noon today. i was rushing to an appointment, but seemed like several blocks were cordoned off and every emergency vehicle ever was there.

(didn't look like one of those terror drill things, though.)

anybody know?

    Weird, only thing I know of (I haven't watched the news yet) was the GCT Food Fair: 43rd btw Lex and 3rd. But that can't be it.

    way too many sirens for that, i think. the whole walk from GCT to 38th and 1st was sirens all the time.
