4th of July Fireworks

The last two years we have gone to the promenade. However, for the life of me, I cannot figure out if the fireworks will be viewable from their this year. Does anyone know or can figure it out for me? Also, if not, any other great spots/ideas/recommendations for the 4th?

It's on the Hudson River between 23rd and I think they said 52nd. They're also saying poor viewing south of 23rd. So with the Manhattan skyline in the way it's hard to imagine the show being visible from the Promenade.

Yes, go to Manhattan and on the way please pick me up and drop me and Zoka off on Church ave to play in a backyard with two rotties. Kthx
