Does anyone know of an area dentist who accepts insurance and does very high quality work?

There are several threads on this, but the theme is: Robert Rosenkranz is the best. If you search Brooklynian for his name you'll find many supporters of his work, the staff, and their handling of insurance. My bf (with complicated dental issues) and I are included in his satisfied patients.

I went to your dentist's website and found that he does not accept my insurance. I wrote to ask if they would be willing to accept the amount the plan pays. And so . . . who knows?

I had to have a lot of work done (to deal with something a past dentist horribly screwed up) and for the things that my insurance does not cover, they rebilled me at a much lower rate than they usually quote for insurance companies.

Good luck! Wherever you go, make sure to read reviews and not end up at a bad dentist.

Dr. Rosenkranz is marvelous! Highly recommended!

Thus far (2 years), I have been pretty happy with Gentle Dental on 5th Ave. Don't pay them up front though... The dentists are fine, but the billing department sucks. I have Metlife Dental and they take it no problems.

Word on Dr. Rosenkranz. You would not believe how kind and genuine he is. And he has Sunday appointments for people who can't make it during the week. The best dentist I have ever been to.

it's not even close. Rosenkrantz is the best dentist i've ever had. It's ridiculous that I now look forward to going to the dentist..but i really do
