Found a black/tan striped cat in my yard in North Slope. If he has owners, would love to reunite them! If not, he needs at least a foster home, if not a permanent one. We are getting him neutered but are not able to keep him.

e-mail me if interested: [email hidden]

He is very friendly, likes being petted and loves to play!

I followed the instructions and it still didn't work. Different for Macs? Here's a link: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2593/3741207946_f7bf395200.jpg?v=0

oh, he's a cutie! did you take him to the vet to have him scanned for a microchip? you may get lucky and vets will do this for free.

remove teh "?v=0" at the end of the flickr link and the pic should show up, and add [img] (there's a button for this in the full "post reply" section) to both ends.

OMG! He's gorgeous. He's got his "yah, baby, you know you want to rub my belly" face on!

It looks like you got him a lot of toys and things already. Are you sure you can't keep him if you can't find his home?

    Thanks OpossumQueen!

By the way, we saw an opossum in our yard too...I do NOT plan on bringing him in the house though.

My neighbor saw an opossum on Saturday walking down our block. Between the possum and the raccoon, it's a zoo here :-)

Those are our cats' things...we can't keep them both, unfortunately. No space, no money, etc. Plus we have to keep them separate right now, which is nearly impossible in a tiny 1 BDR. He is going beserk being cooped up, so the sooner we can find a foster home, the better for all the humans and animals involved!

Do you know if the cat you found gets along with other cats? I ask because I know someone who has a cat, and wants the cat to have a friend, but some cats just can't get along. Thanks.

I think he would do very well with a companion! He has never shown any aggression toward my female cat, though they've been separated by a barrier each time. And he once paid a visit to our dearly departed kitty while he was hanging out in the yard. He gave him a few sniffs and they got on very well.

Once he recovers from the neuter I would encourage your friend to give him a "trial run"!

    UPDATE!

Kitty is FeLV/FIV negative. Clean bill of health! No microchip though, so he was likely dumped...and is definitely available for adoption!

Kitty is about 1 or 2, and gets along well with others...both human and feline:)

Is this Carlos? I have heard about this love bug ... He is a great cat and I hear that he will do well with other cats. Carlos is a big mush of a cat.

This is the famous Carlos! He's currently being fostered in Clinton Hill and doing well.

There are two threads on Carlos, so I'm going to lock this one. The link to the other thread (which includes some really cute photos) is below.
