Rumor has it that Buttacup is reopening (Adelphi and DeKalb). Is it true? That was my favorite spot to bring clients to.

It's not going to be Buttacup anymore; it's a Brooklyn incarnation of Red Bamboo, a delicious vegetarian restaraunt near W. 4th in Manhattan. I'm not even a vegetarian and I admit this place is great. Looking forward to it.

I've been to Red Bamboo and it is one of my favorites as well. Now we're going to have one in BK! Yay!

Indeed! I'm excited. I'm also looking forward to the reopening of Liquors. Not much beats brunch out on their back patio on a sunny spring day.

Liquors is definitely re-opening right? Are they just remodeling?

That's what the signs say in their windows. They say Liquors will return in the spring.

Red Bamboo opened for lunch and dinner this weekend, and it seems that it did very well. There's a sign up that says it won't reopen until Thursday.

    Subject: website - then food?

Well, they have a website up! http://redbamboobrooklyn.com/ and it looks like it is going to be more caribbean than the west village location. Can't wait! Brunch (if they offer it) will probably be great there.
