I'm visiting a friend in Park Slope in a few weeks and would appreciate it if you could recommend some parking garages that are secure and don't require a monthly account.

Thanks in advance!

Are you opposed to parking on the street? Its pretty safe here.

Also, it would help to know where your friend lives. There are a lot of garages here. Depends what part of town you will be in.

if you are just visiting, why not park on the street? Are you from the burbs and think Brooklyn is scary?

I'm hella scared of parking in the slope.

I see how they play the braille parking game.
Sometimes theft isnt the only scary thing out there

The only saftey issue I'm concerned about in Park Slope is getting run over by a stroller.

However a quick google search yields plenty of reports of vandals/thefts after dark. I suppose I would have been better off not reading those, but now I'd rather pay the $20 a day and have peace of mind.

In any case I found at 800 Union which is close enough for me.

Really? I know there was a rash of tire stealing lately, will have to google myself and see what comes up
