Ok, this could be me being a bonehead, but isn't channel 10 CNN on TWC? And 710 is CNN HD?

One of the recordings I got to listen to while on hold with TWC today was about channel changes. I haven't looked at my channels enough yet to see what's changed.

as with everything else in corporate America, it's about money. CNN was dropping in the ratings and didn't want to pay to retain channel position.

CNN is based in Atlanta, Georgia, with a heavy presence in Washington, DC and New York.

The really important question re Time Warner is when is the Daily Show/Comedy Central going to have an HD channel? Or am I dense and there already is one that I don't know about??

I get CNN on 778 HDTV. Time Warner needs help, a lot of help. Their probably busy taking care of their bldg. at 59th Street Circle. And they want us to switch our computer & phone service to them. Not is a million yrs.
