I'm hoping that the men who race their bikes, revving their engines, setting off the car alarms, doing wheelies down the block read this. STOP IT! Your neighbors are tired of you. That's all.

One percenters don't care about what the neighbors think.

Speed Bumps. our block assoc. prez said they were hard to get. but I;ve noticed a bunch of new ones. I live on st. marks right down the way from a mc club. They ride their donorcycles ( yeah this font is hard to read) down the wide street and it is annoying.
i've just called 311- and requested info on getting speed bumps on our block.

You are assuming that they a) can read b) are computer literate and c) actually care about anything but themselves. Thinking clothesline.

There's a dude with an old Pontiac or something with the loudest stereo ever who occasionally parks on my block and just blasts tunes. I don't understand it.

one of the bikers will face plant into the pavement at 40 mph soon enough ..

    that should help the situation.

^^^Nobody wants the bikers to get hurt, they just need to respect other people in the neighborhood. Keep that bullshit on Atlantic.

I think it is inevitable that someone will get hurt. The rules of the road (or of common sense) are NOT being followed. I have actually seen one idiot STANDING on his motorcycle - and he was doing at least 20-30 MPH. Unfortunately, there is a reason they call them Donorcycles.

    Only 20-30mph?

He must have been a n00b.

This bunch of fools comes out every summer. They seem to have one or two folks who ride with them that live on the block, hence their continued presence this summer. I'm just trying to figure out who they know (or have compromising pictures of) which allows them to do things like ride their full-sized dirtbikes, atv's and croch rockets on the sidewalks (next to pedestrians at high rates of speed. Also wondering why the cop who dutifly gives out tickets each morning isn't ever around while these guys are riding without plates.

Being an upstanding, tax-paying citizen sometimes sucks.
