Any good exterminator references? My dog has fleas.

The title says it all.

Looking to get rid of fleas and can't.

Has anyone used an exterminator in the area they would recommend?

I haven't used an exterminator for this, however let me recount a story. My ex found a kitten in the back garden of house he shared with another guy and a large dog. I was taking the kitten to another city, so I went to a vet to get some flea treatment. I happened to buy Advantage, but I've also used Frontline and Revolution. I applied the Advantage to the kitten. It killed every flea on the kitten, the dog, and all the loose fleas in the house. Flea powders don't work, but the strong veterinarian prescribed stuff does.

My vet gave me some stuff to bomb the house with when we got our rescue kittens (who had fleas). Between that and the Advantage we were okay. Try calling your vet and see if they have the foggers and will give them to you without an exam.
