This tour will explore the less-visited other side of Green-Wood, whose deceased denizens are no less fascinating. The tour will visit the last resting places of Basquiat, a silent western film star, the original Wizard, the founder of the ASPCA, "The Great Divine," minstrels, several Civil War Generals and many more.

Advance tickets available. No reservations are necessary. http://www.green-wood.com/store.php/store/category/2/tour/89

Please note the meeting point is at the Fort Hamilton Parkway Entrance to Green-Wood across from Miceli Place.
Take the F/G train to Church Avenue and walk down McDonald Avenue to Ft. Hamilton Pkwy.

Ruth Edebohls worked for the Brooklyn Center for the Urban Environment as its Coordinator of Urban Tours and as a tour guide for 15 years. A Brooklyn native, she is a licensed New York City Tour Guide and urban historian with a special enthusiasm for Green-Wood Cemetery. Over the years, she has created and led many fascinating tours of Green-Wood. We are very proud that Ruth has just joined us as a Green-Wood Historic Fund tour guide.
