Franklin Park Reading Series -- This Monday, 9/14, 8PM

Just wanted to let you know about the next installment of the Franklin Park Reading Series. It's this Monday, September 14, at 8PM, in the big room.

The headliner will be Susan Shapiro, author of the new comic novel Speed Shrinking and 4 nonfiction works, including Five Men Who Broke My Heart.

Frank Flaherty, a NY Times editor who just released The Elements of Story, a writing guide and memoir about the fast-paced newspaper business.

Royal Young, editor of the arts and culture magazine Pomp & Circumstance. Royal is working on a memoir about his early '90s childhood in the pre-gentrified Lower East Side.

Lori Bizzoco, a freelance journalist and dating columnist who's writing a memoir about her rapid transition from corporate PR to marriage and motherhood.
