Gunshots - East 23rd and Ditmas Ave

Does anybody have any info about the shooting on East 23rd and Ditmas Ave on the evening of Sept. 14, 2009? I was in bed, unsuccessfully trying to sleep because of my ridiculous neighbors slamming their dominos on a table outside, when I was jolted out of bed by 5-6 gunshots. The shots were so close that my wife could smell the residue from the rounds drift into our 3rd floor apt's open window. Just wondering if anybody knows what happened.

maybe somebody was shooting at the domino players? Gothamist usually has the info on crime stuff.
