Indian restaurants in the area?

We just moved to the neighborhood, and we love it.

However, we can't find a decent Indian eatery - if any - in the area. Any recommendations?

Regards,

Thank you for the quick response Jack and Beaver!

Beaver, you and you friends - and I don't know how to tell you this - look like rabbits.

    Cheers!

Wah??? Why I never!! When I find good Indian food in the nabe, don't expect me to tell YOU about it.

Well, okay, I might tell you. But only to taunt you.

Don't be fooled. Beave is much more of a bunny boiler type.

there briefly was an indian place next door to farrells where enzos is now. i believe they still have another branch on 7th ave between 11th and 10th st

That's too bad. Enzos tastes nothing like Indian food.

I've been to the Bombay Grill on 7th; not the greatest, but they seem freindly.

I head into Manhattan for my Indian fix (shut up, Flexi). There was a great place up in Washington Heights but the name escapes me.

I know. I want to like Bombay Grill, but I get disappointed every single time. You would think that there is at least one Indian restaurant in Brooklyn that saves you a trip to Queens.

If you're still looking, India Place up on Vanderbilt is the best in the area, though that's not saying a heck of a lot. But it's not bad and they have a very wide delivery range despite it coming slowly on a bike. They reach us on Windsor Place. Takes up to an hour though. Menu online.
