Anyone know of a place in Prospect Heights where I can get my cartridges refilled or where I can purchase some ink?

... but it might be worth checking whether a new printer costs less than refilling the old ink, such is the evilness of printer manufacturers.

You might be able to find cartridges at Park Heights Copy & Stationary, on Park Pl. right where 7th Ave. and Flatbush Ave. meet. They're a good local business.

Park Heights Stationers and Copy DOES have my printer cartridge, and therefore, Park Heights Stationers and Copy is awesome. Kudos.

Example: HP printer takes 4 cartridges -3 color- 1 black. Each cartridge $70. Printer will not print without all cartridges. Total cost $280. New HP color printer $270 with manufacturers coupon

PH stationers, while I like them, sells the carts for my printer at 150% of list price. The carts list for 14 (I buy them online for $11), and they sell for $21. Sheesh.

I like the store, but really. Also if you join staples' reward club or whatever they call it, they'll give you $3 for each empty cart you return. You have to wait til they mail it to you, and it's only a gift certificate for staples, but still better than nothing.

$49 and free shipping for a refurb all in one printer/scanner wth wifi for the price of the ink itself that comes with it.

4 inks for that thing cost 50 bucks :p.
