at the grand army plaza market today. they were tiny seeded, green things that the missus brought home. She doesn't know what they are called but they are the most delicious thing I have ever tasted. anyone know what grapes I'm describing?

not sure which ones you got, but the real gems are the jupiters

get them while you can. only a 4 week growing season.

like a concord grape with no seed and thin skin. amazing

Don't champagne grapes have to be from Champagne, actually? Is that what they're growing in upstate? I understood that these must be cultivar-type grapes, hence the cumbersome size/pits, just was wondering what the name for this particular one is.... Himrod and Jupiter, Canadice or Glenora??

They usually have at least three varieties of seeded wine grapes: green (Niagara, I think), red (Catawba?), and deep blue-black (Concord). I have always found the seeded grapes tastier than the seedless.

I tasted string beans from a friend of frinds garden... organically grown in New Jersey.

Made me feel I did not ever want toeat another vegetable unless it was grown prganic and right and with care.

What a blessing that we can eat grapes...or anything that tastes like the distant memory of my childhood.
