New Cafe coming to 6th Ave and 7th street

I believe this space used to be a high-priced women's clothing store, but the workers there today told me it will be a new "cafe", serving "coffee, sandwiches, burgers, and fries"

Latepass but yes, they've been working on this for like a year now. Lots of issues with the renovation. it's going to be mediteranian-ish according to the owner.

The other day they had the tarps up and a lot has happened in the space lately. They finally have doors/windows instead of empty frames, booths/tables, deli counter.

Cafe...as in a place where you can hang out with your laptop and sip a coffee for an hour without looking like a free loader?

For that, you need a coffeeshop with no waiters, free WiFi, comfortable seating, and preferably much better coffee than what Tea Lounge has.
