Whats Hot?!

Hello neighbors...

I have four amazing rentals coming on the market so I spent most of yesterday walking along Nostrand, NY, Bklyn Aves and south of EPkwy looking for the best of the best in restaurants, nite spots, shopping, etc. to make mention of in my marketing... but now I'm looking for your input... tell me all about your faves and what you think are the best spots. Thanks for all your help.

(the apts: 3 are on NY Ave btwn St. Johns and Lincoln Place, under renovation and available May 1. 1 is on NY Ave btwn Carroll and President, available August 1)

Okay, I'll start this off.

Best restaurant (Eat-in): Tavern on Nostrand
Best Bagels: Bagels and High Tea
Best WI takeout: Cheffy's,
Best soul food: Sunshine
Best Chinese Delivery (local): Tak Hing
Best spot you don't know exists: Cafe 400
Best cheap drink: IFE (as long as you don't order Hypnotic or any other liquor mentioned in a music video)
Best old fashioned barbershop: Ducketts (Nostrand and Union)
Best supermarket: Foodtown
Best park for little kids: Broward Park
Best vegetarian take out: Imhotep

Can someone do best dive bar? What about best pizza?

IFE is Nostrand and Dean (?) or Pacific (?). It has a weird sign outside that appears white unless its lit up at night, which may be why no one knows its there.
