Subject: So it's Friday. And a holiday weekend. However...

I'm not off for the entire three days. It's a shame, I know.

However tonight I'm off!

Anyone have ideas on something to do other than dine out or go hang in a bar for three hours? Not really interested in a movie, and I just got my cultural fill of the week by seeing Aida at the Met on Wednesday (all 4+ hours of it--wonderful, but a little draining).

What's a boy to do?

Grab some friends together and go bowling or go to Brownstone Billiards and play pool/pingpong/air hockey?

Go to a dance club or concert? (village voice can help you with this one)

Grab a beer somewhere on Atlantic (too many bars to name) and then head to Brooklyn Heights promenade and enjoy the stunning view of the city?

When I'm bored, I always find that stalking the Vale of Cashmere after dark makes for a fun evening out.

    Thanks, y'all!

I decided to spend my post-tax dollars in Manhattan after all.

Yo. Have you ever been to Commerce (West Village)?

Well, I just came from there, and let's say that yes, my life has been changed.

Delicious on the inside and out (*tip: get the Steak Diane--best filet mignon, ever).

Thanks to everyone here in Brooklyn that made this possible:

Without you guys, I don't know where I'd be today!!
