I watched part of Thompson v Bloomberg, but am pleased to see a blow by blow twitter feed of it by wnyc's Brian Lehrer

FROM TWITTER: "Rev. Billy, Green Party candidate interrupts mayor's opening statement shouting the people voted for term limits."

I'm going to write this guy in.

Having caught the repeat on Ch-21, I thought Thompson did very well. Bloomberg didn't seem that into the debate. I thought the "one-word answer" part was retarded, and nothing was said or answered, but never the less Thompson held his own in this Debate About Nothing.

you won't have to - he's got an actual ballot line
Greens have had enough % of votes to actual be on the slate, and the petitioning was completed for Rev Billy to take the spot. TV won't let him on the debate podium tho...

Bloomberg acts like it a waste of his valuable time to even bring up his nullification of term limits - *if you don't like it, vote for my opponent*
    Done and done!

I watched the debate and thought Bloomberg acted like he was above it all and ticked off that he had to be there. I also thought his use of spanish was kind of obsequious. Am voting for Thompson because I think he'll be a fine mayor and I think Bloomberg trampling the voter's wishes for term limits set a very dangerous precedent.
