How To Build A Tree Pit Guard - Nov 1st at 2pm

SouthSlopeDog & BrooklynShade, two community volunteer groups, are sponsoring a Tree Guard building clinic at the 6/15 Community Garden on 6th Ave and 15th Street.

NYC has planted over 40,000 street trees in the past 3 years. It is up to our local communities to help those young trees survive their early and most vulnerable years.

Building Tree Guards is an effective first step to avert harm and avoid early tree death.

Learn proper tree care and how to build an affordable wooden tree pit guard at our 2 hour clinic.
