Done with Press 195

I gave Press 195 another shot last night, after they'd screwed up my two previous orders. I asked for the sauce that usually comes on the sandwiches on the side, and instead I just didn't get them at all.

The food there is good, when done properly. But when there are glaring mistakes in 90% of the food delivered (like essential components left off), it's just not worth the price. They computerized the system, but that doesn't mean that nobody has to double-check that the orders that go out the door.

For reliable sandwiches, go next door to Bierkraft or to the 5th Ave Market up the street.

i'm just curious, because i've never heard anything bad about press 195 and it's one of my favorite places in the neighborhood and a post like this has zero affect on my interest in continuing to eat there often...

but do the people who come on these boards to complain about restaurants actually make the complaints TO the restaurants themselves?

if so, great. if the sole purpose is to come here to gripe about it, it has no affect but to make me want to support them even more. that's just me though.

I LOVE press 195 and plan to go later today.

I don't mind people sharing negative experiences about restaurants but the shout-from-the-mountaintop "....so therefore they're not worth your time" is silly.

Press 195 takes a while and sometimes screws things up. We know that. Hell, their ownership has posted on here, I believe, after hearing us say that. Press 195 ALSO makes very good sandwiches and I will put up with their idiosynchracies every now and then.

I didn't post to just complain "from a mountaintop".. and yes I let them know about the consistently flawed delivery. Just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem. It's called a forum.
