tons of games coming on this season and now!!

just came out borderlands, tochlight and coming in the next few days dragon age.

Heck yeah! Dragon Age is already pre-ordered, although it will be a fight between my wife and I as to who gets to play the most.

Also, Assassin's Creed 2 in November and Mass Effect 2 (although ME2 might be 2010?), and I still haven't gotten around to picking up Arkham Asylum. Oh, and the new GTA IV add-on just got released.

I'm just waitin' on Bioshock 2...

..and Fallout: New Vegas, whenever that happens...

Arkham is awesome! I'm about half-way through it. Then I start on Uncharted 2, and then Brutal Legend (not too excited for this one, but I picked it up as a buy-2-get-1 free deal).

I only ask because my son is a game freak (addicted is more like it) and I am sure he will be wanting to pick these up shortly.

Oh and since I have the "gamers" in one spot - what is it when kids type with numbers (i.e., my son wrote something like 1337 and said it was "leet") . Does anyone know what I am talking about?

Never heard of 'leet,' (I must be too old) but from Wikipedia:

Yeah, no idea. Sorry, as I'm mid-30's, I'm likely well-past knowing what the hell "leet" texting is. Actually, I have no portable device that enables me to text at all, nor want one. I can on my PC through AIM or something, but really never have. I'm happily luddite in that respect.

It's just a gamer habit of abbreviating and replacing letters with number/symbols that have a similar appearance - 3 looks like and E, backwards, 7 is vaguely T-shaped, etc, etc. There's also intentional mistypes that started with... well, unintentional mistypes, like "pwn"

AW can tell you all about it when he takes a break from gaming in Feb...

i should be working , but van just broke down and gotta be taken to the shop .

but well i'm not too hyped about new vegas. i'm a huge fallout 1 and 2 and tactics fan. got the new one too and the expansions. but not big fan of elder scroll games(have them too ) to me its basically elder scroll games dressup as a fallout game.

i'm probably gonna get it anyway .

i didn't to be expect back here till i finish all my new games. blah too work up from work lol to play.
