Crown Street - Rogers and Nostrand

My husband and I are looking at an apartment in this area. I am Latina and my husband is black. The stop nearest there is President (2,5). Any thoughts or suggestions?

We have lived for over three years in the Bronx, Norwood area, and are familiar with NYC.

You should be fine. In many ways, the feel of this area is similar to Norwood, though this area might be a bit noisier. As always, it would pay to take a look around, especially at night, to gauge how comfortable you feel.
