Asian hair stylist in Park Slope

Does anyone know of a (good) Asian hair stylist in Park Slope? I have really thick and heavy hair that needs thinning out in the back. Usually, Asian stylists are used to treating this type of hair and have a special technique for thinning. The stylist I used awhile back that was great at this went MIA (deported??). Help.

The BEST place is in Bensonhurst on 86th Street and 25th Avenue. HUGE Asian population and absolutely worth the trip. What you will spend in car fare you will save on services. I am trying to remember the shop name - will post as soon as I find the #$% & card! In case anyone else can remember - -

Or you could stop in at any of a dozen places on 8th Avenue in Sunset Park.

You would have great luck on 86th street between 19 and 21st avenues in Bensonhurst. There are no less that 4 or 5 Asian hairstylist on that stretch alone. Most take walk ins. Bay Ridge also has many. Good Luck!

If you're willing to go into manhattan, try Hayato on 23rd b/w Lex and 3rd. They're a Japanese salon and do a great job with straightening and thinning out thicker hair.
