Oh Christmas Tree? Where are You?

Where to find Christmas trees in Prospect Heights? Not yet? Am I just not observant? I can't find any and hey, it's two days after Thanksgiving!!!

I saw them right in front of Duane Reade on Flatbush. Is it close enough for you?

i've gotten a pretty sizable tree home in a granny cart, fwiw. the trick is to have them bind it up tightly at the tree stand.

Got the tree. had to borrow a neighbor's granny cart (good idea). I went to the guy in front of Duane Reade, but noticed that Key Food on Flatbush was setting up their trees this morning.

More precisely, it's a Yule tree. From pre-Christian Germanic rites, still practised in fact (I've seen it... maybe 'endured' is the right word).

We're going to be selling christmas (yule) trees until we run out
in front of our shop (Goods) on Underhill between St. Marks and Prospect
starting today. We have Douglas and Frasier Firs, as well as a few wreaths.
