Any suggestions. The person I am helping is 28 married woman.

Slope area is good but open as long as in brooklyn.
affordable or sliding scale helps. Does anyone have a rough idea
what they cost?

    some are affordable, some are not. The psychologists usually cost more than the LCSW-Rs.

    If the person has very little $, they'll need to go to an OMH licensed clinic to get care. All of the clinics are cheaper than all of the folks in private practice, however, some of the clinicians at the clinics "suck" (sorry, I will not answer the question "which clinics suck?").

    Park Slope Mental Health Clinic on 13th. Good start if you don't have much cash and there are decent people working there. It is a community service.
