Jive Turkey

Just wondering if anyone has had any recent experience with Jive Turkey on Myrtle ave.. I keep seeing them advertised. My sister said she saw them on the travel channel.
I had two bad experiences with them and never went back. Several friends of mine had bad service experiences also.
I was wondering if they cleaned up their act. Has the service improved?

i too had a really bad experience when i went - and it really hurts its reputation as i am no longer going to patronize this location.

i usually dont complain about places, as i've been in the restaurant industry for many years....

here's where it gets sticky - being the only one...i went in getting a few things that i can microwave myself....i put them on the counter, and told the person that i'm taking these to go...handed her my credit card....and she swipes it. everything seems cool up to this point...she had a take-out order while taking care of me. she pops that in the microwave...and disappears to the back. at that point...i'm really dumbfounded. she didn't put my stuff in a bag yet...she comes back to the front...10 minutes later (with nothing in her hands - so i'm unsure what she went to the back for)...gets back to the microwaving of the food....and i said to her..."i'm not looking to get my food heated up, if you can do me a favor and just bag this up and i'll be on my way." she insisted that the credit card hasn't gone through yet. i held back - as i heard the paper print out while she was in the back....and said..."oh..ok." two seconds later, she pulls the paper from the printer, i signed....now she decided to bag my stuff up.

made me want to go...hmmm.

btw, it hasn't exactly been getting glowing reviews on yelp either.
