newspaper delivery tip

Just wondering what the standard holiday tip for the newspaper delivery person would be? SASE was included in my weekends paper, want to send something, cash?, check? Thanks for your thoughts.

I sent him 10 dollars.

Ten bucks seems right for weekend delivery. I get the Times every day, so I send my guy 50.

I send a check, and make sure it indicates the address and apartment # on it. No sense in sending a tip if he doesn't know who it is from.
