Where can I find an old picture frame?

Howdy neighbors,

I'm about to make somebody a cork board for Christmas and I just need an old crappy picture frame to put it in. Does anybody have any idea where I could find something like this? All I can seem to find are fancy antique stores, and I definitely don't want to spend more than like $25 on it.

Thanks!

There are usually a couple of dealers at the Brooklyn Flea, indoors in DUMBO during the winter, who have frames. You also might try the Salvation Army's main Brooklyn warehouse at Quincy & Downing in Clinton Hill.

Eddies furniture is an architectural salvage store. Great for doors but there is so much more. I;ve bought doors, moldings, buffalo head. books. pictures. He does clean outs so you might find furniture or whatever. I always check it out when i go By and Eddie is a great one for the stories!.

    Can't resist that review.

If he's open on Saturdays, he'll receive a visit from yours truly soon.
