Toys for Tots-09 locations

Anyone know where the local Slope TFT drop off center/s is?

There is a box at the Astoria Federal Savings Bank on 7th Avenue and President Street. Not sure of others

There's a box of some sort at Back to the Land, but I don't know whether it's Toys for Tots or some other thing.

FYI, if you're the type of person who likes to wrap and send gifts, next year you should check out the Winter Wishes page at NY Cares website, which also does toy drives for needy kids in NYC. You specify how many kids you want to buy a gift for and which ages, and they send you info on what the kid/s want. it's really cute; they write down what they would like and sometimes draw a picture. Plus, there's the added advantage of giving a child something they actually want. The only heartbreaking thing is that sometimes you get a letter from a kid where they wrote "I would like an XBox" or something like that, and then it's crossed out and something much more modest, like "blocks" is written in. You know the social worker made them cross it out. It always makes me want to buy the kid an Xbox anyway.

Park Slope Plumbing on 5th Ave and Prospect Ave (that's Avenue not Street) has a drop-off.
