Banh Mi = Vietnamese sandwiches. I'm a big fan of Ba Xuyên in Sunset Park for these lovely treats traditionally made with pickled veg and an assortment of pork products on a rice flour bagette. And now a shop is opening in the north/center slope . . . 5th Ave, Pres/Carroll where Scaredy Kat vacated. Yum....

Ba Xuyen is awesome. If the new place is anywhere near that good, I will be very happy. Especially if they deliver to Prospect Heights.

I'm all for Banh Mi...(lord knows i DO love it) but when will we see a full-fledged Vietnamese place open in the hood? It's really the one cuisine that I personally wish we had and feel we're missing.
