Can anyone recommend an accupuncture place, preferrably South or Center slope area ? Cost is a factor as my insurance won't cover it.
Thanks in advance !

I can think of some recommendations but give us the maximum price you would be willing to pay for a treatment.
Also often one treatment will do nothing to address a problem so you need to be willing to have a group of sessions at weekly (or even bi weekly) intervals to see a result.

Neither south nor center slope, but I love Nicole Tatem at Tatem Accupuncture on Flatbush Avenue between St Marks & Prospect St.

I was hoping to gather a few recommendations, and then call and ask them for their rates; then go with the one most affordable to me. I don't really have a "maximum" in mind. Previously, I've seen an accupuncturist in Jackson Heights, and she was a serious bargain, but thats too far from my current apartment, and I'm sure nobody locally will be anywhere near as affordable.

Anyone else out there love their accupuncturist ?

Acupuncture Project on 3rd Avenue has sliding scale, you can pay as little as $25 per session.

I haven't been there for treatment, but hubby and eldest child both have been. I have only been inside to pick up hubby. I hear they do some very intensive massage and cupping also (eldest child had this done there)

Sally Rappeport is fabulous. I've seen her for a few years. She treated me after I had ACL surgery. I've also seen her for sinus headaches and frozen shoulder. She's on Union near 8th Ave. 718-398-5284.
