safe haven

Got word that Safe Haven closed because a partner pulled out. It was nice having a bar in the 'nabe. I just hope whoever takes over knows more than the last ones. Some of the bartenders were lame.

I wish Frank would bring back Bar BQ. That was a great bar, great owner, good bbq and amazing hot sauces. I still miss it.

Crap. That was my go to spot to sit and work on my days off. The taps were great, and it had a good neighborhoody vibe. Plus it was only three blocks from my apartment.

I do as well. I stayed away from Safe Haven for the first couple of months because of that, but once I started going, I really enjoyed it.

I am very sad about this news...I really loved this place, but because of the lack of employment in the 5x5 household, I was unable to spend much time/money there in the last year. I hope my bar boyfriend ends up doing well, whatever he does next.

Last time I saw Frank, he was relaxing and enjoying a beer...said he didn't miss the never-ending work.

Crap oh crap! This was my most favorite hang and I loved the owner DJ...I hope they can get it together to re-open. Where do I go now when I have a jones for a pulled pork sandwich or mac and cheese???

Saw a chalkboard in the window today "Coming Soon, something different."

Any clues?
