it just got hit by a truck from the construction site, between underhill and washington. pm me if they didn't leave a note (they tried to fix the front fender by prying it w/ a crowbar).

ouch...

I think that bike belongs to someone in the little house right next to the parking lot on the east side, if it's the same bike. What a drag for them.

yup, in front of that driveway. not the scooter w/ the cover (which isn't there at the moment) but the motorcycle on the street. haven't done any recon to look at the damage yet.

wait till 6pm they get off than all the crew inside the garage too. so after that go see if there is a note if not leave a note saying the construction guys did it and leave youre name and number :). i follow a guy in a bus for like miles lol once cause they hit a car and kept going and i was able to catch up and copy down the plate number and drove back and left a note stating what happen and my number if they need it.

I did that once too, a garbage truck ran an old man in a BMW off the road and into a line of parked cars right infront of me when I was driving. Other cars stopped to see if the BMW driver was ok, so I went off and got the garbage truck plate numbers and called the cops.

Someone from the block put me in touch with the developer of the site. I hear he's a good guy who will be willing to help out, but I'll definitely let you know if I need some back up!

Don't delete those photos :) Thanks so much.

We live with the owner of the bike (and didn't realize how old the posts were, we got worried!) but they are going to be condos. It's been really a slow process partly because they had to switch developers, but we have been here two years and it's been amazingly slow.

Thanks for the heads up! Sorry, really didn't mean to cause confusion with the outdated post-- I'd done a search with the keywords, "st. marks and underhill" and I guess this was the first post that popped up for me.

But, indeed, construction has taken quite awhile already! Am sort of trying to mentally prepare for open-window season.
