Freelancers group?

I've recently become a full-time freelancer and was wondering if there was some sort of Park Slope freelancers meet up group or something? Maybe something a bit more formal and structured than just meeting other freelancers in one of the many coffee shops in the hood and a bit less formal than joining the Brooklyn Freelancers Collective on president (which I will join once I have more regular income).

Anywhere you crazy kids meet up? I'd like the human contact with other peeps in my same position I'm just all extroverted like that.
