sounds like the owner is a really nice lady, and sounds as though she's trying hard to improve her business. the recession special sounds like a pretty good deal too.
and i do love poutine.

This is something I can get behind.

Nice try...but the first (and last) time I was there their fries were frozen and then deep fried. If you don't have decent fries it's not gonna work. She seems nice and I think this is a step in the right direction but try making your fries fresh and this will work. Because the burgers aren't doing it.
