Who is open and serving brunch/lunch today? Not looking for anything fancy, just regular old food

Try Mangia on 5th, maybe Alchemy, they tend to be open on holidays, call first.

Random Ideas: Probably Latin places would be open (again call first)
Maria's on 4th and Union, Barrio, Miracle Grill, Los Pollitos, El Grand Castillo..

Yes, Miracle Grill is closed down. We ended up going to Magnolia, had a great steal sandwich and hubby had a crabcake one, yum
